AWAKE THE DAWN WITH DON MOEN ON Your Steadfast Love
This week most of our devotionals centred on the steadfast love of the lord. We saw in lamentations 3:22-23, on Verse of the day, that it is of the lord's mercies that we are not consumed because his compassion fail not and they are new every morning. On our daily guide devotionals we meditated on Psalms 107, where the psalmist urged us as the children of God to give thanks to the lord for he is good, for his merciful kindness endures forever. These heart warming devotions this week have birthed a hunger in me to praise God endlessly.
And this morning, the lord woke me up singing on his steadfast love from Psalms 36. And what a perfect way to end the week than to sing God's word back to him. So, in the words of our darling brother and father Don Moen we Awake the dawn upon our lutes and lyres and ten stringed instruments, with this song of praise to honour our faithful father whose love is eternal and whose compassion never fails.
