Awake the Dawn with Jeremiah 32: 27
There is nothing our God cannot do. This knowledge gives me a lot of hope. In the book of Jeremiah chapter 32:17 at a point where the life of Jeremiah and his people were being threatened greatly, as they were about to be carried away into exile. God instructed him to go ahead and purchase a land from his cousin in that soon to be overthrown country. This instruction seemed absurd to Jeremiah. So, In both his exasperation and faith Jeremiah cried and said "Ah, lord God! Behold you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm, there is nothing too hard for you to do"
The lord replied him in verse 27 of the same chapter and said
"Behold, I am the God of all flesh is there anything too hard for me?"
This is the question we should meditate on this morning. What is that burden, what is that crossroad at which you have found yourself? God is our burden bearer. He is the one who makes a way where there is no way. He makes a road in the middle of the sea and creates a high way in the wilderness. He makes rivers to appear in the desert and brings forth water from the rock. He is the same God who raised dead Lazarus from the grave after he had been there for four days. He made that woman's issue of blood to cease after 12 years of affliction. A man with palsy was healed after 38 years. He gives women of over 50 and 60 husband and bless them with babies. He is a God who can do all things. This morning join Judikay to praise this God. Throw all your cares at his feet, refuse to give in to despair. Hold on to his promises for they do not disappoint. Even though they may tarry, they can never be denied. God is too faithful to fail. Trust in him.
