NIV: But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given you as well.

Thoughts on Today's Verse

Its not often that anyone gives us their secret recipe to success. But God has our best interest at heart. He hides nothing from us. If we are really serious about getting all we need for comfort in this life, there is only one solution: "seek God first". He wants to give us of himself before he gives us his hand. Ironically, man wants it the other way round and as a result we miss out big time. We have a lot of troubles and heartaches trying to get comfy down here because we've neglected the manufacturer's manual. May God help us to turn around from our folly and embrace him today so we can have real life and real provisions through Christ Jesus. Amen!
