Today's Verse for Meditation and memorization is Proverbs 9:10

The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy one is understanding (NKJV)

Thoughts on Today's Verse

Humanity have always been in quest for knowledge and wisdom. Throughout the ages many sages have emerged. Some had made outstanding contributions to organized bodied of knowledge. Yet, they died unfulfilled because there remained a deep yearning in their spirits for a concrete revelation of the truth. Their quest to uncover how and why the world existed remained elusive. Today the lord is showing us from this verse written down ages ago by the wisest man who ever lived, Solomon, that wisdom is found nowhere else but in living our lives in reverential fear of the lord. More so, for anyone to have understanding he is to know the Lord. 

Knowing the lord instructs intimates us about God and his ways. We learn God's principles and commands then as we keep them,  we are kept safe and secure from all the wrong inclinations that destroy those who feel they are knowledgeable outside God. We are equipped to navigate the rough waters of life which many others cannot fathom. 

Jesus is the wisdom of God revealed to mankind. It is Jesus from start to finish in this issue of being wise and knowledgeable. Those who have Jesus in their lives have said yea to eternal life while those who rejected him have rejected wisdom and knowledge.  Do you wish to be made wise? Then embrace JESUS and bring him into the centre of your life.
