AWAKE THE DAWN WITH ELIJAH OYELADE: "Spirit Pray"
It's another awesome morning. We thank God who has preserved our lives to see the last day of August 2020. In Titus 2:11-13 the bible tells us that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world as we keep looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our saviour Jesus Christ.
It is obvious that we cannot live holy, blameless, sober lives if we are not closely united to the living saviour by the power of the holy spirit who lives in us. To activate this power, we need to pray always in the spirit. It is the holy spirit that gave birth to our new nature in Christ. John 3:6 says "that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit".
The holy spirit proceeds from the father and the son. If we do not engage our spirit man daily in constant fellowship with the father and the son through holy spirit inspired prayers and bible study, we stay famished and weak. Our spiritual sensors become dull and we can hardly download from the spirit realm. Let us join our Brother; Elijah Oyelade, this morning, as he ushers us into the presence of God.
What is that situation that seems daunting and overwhelming? Allow the holy spirit to bring it forth to the father through groaning that cannot be expressed. Romans 8:26 likewise the spirit also helps our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought but the holy spirit himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be expressed. May the heavens burst open over us this morning as we worship in Jesus name, Amen!
